I had difficulty mounting, wrong frames

I bought this to attach a newly acquired Leica Summaron 35mm f/3.5 to my M7. The adapter was initially very hard to mount on the camera. I had to back it up and tried remounting. I didn't see any burrs or abnormalities from the machining. The next time it mounted, but then it pulled up the wrong framelines - the 50mm instead of the 35mm. I remounted a last time, and with enough force I managed to get the 35mm frameline to show up. Even after I tried mounting and remounting a few times, about half of the attempts would pull up the wrong frameline. To it's credit, the test pictures showed accurate focus, but I returned the item. I bought the Cosina Voigtlander adapter instead, which works perfectly fine.

Nicely finished. Mine had problems

I purchased this to allow use of my 35mm Summaron 3.5 in LTM on my M camera. It has a machined notch around the circumference to provide clearance for the Summaron's focusing lever. It is beautifully finished. My only problem came after mounting the lens/adapter on the M7. It often hung up in a position so that the 50/75 AND the 35/135 framelines showed up all at once. Remounting it solved the problem usually. Mounting is also very tight, leading me to suspect that something is out of specification. I finally ended up returning this item. I have not had any problems with the original Leitz Wetzlar adapters, or the recent Cosina Voigtlander ones. You may do well with this adapter, but I didn't.
