Matin LCD Screen Protector for Canon EOS-30D Digital Camera

Having installed (and re-installed) screen protectors on several cameras, I approach the job with some misgivings. These Matin products are the easiest to successfully apply that I have ever used! They have rounded corners, are flexible, and adhere well to the screen, not leaving any edges to catch or lift. On my Canon 5D I recently replaced a stiffer protector that was scratched. The Matin went on like butter on toast! And there is a second protector for the top LCD panel (for cameras that have them). Once on the camera, the protector is not noticeable. It can easily be removed without damaging the screen. As far as I am concerned, this is the best of its kind!

Do not be put off by the individuals that do not read the directions, nor take the time to clean their screen before apllying this LCD protector. This one Fits Perfectly, applies easy and will come off without residue left on your screen. I have used many of these type screen protectors in the past, this one is just as good if not better.

The adhesive peels off when trying to apply, rendering it useless. [...] sent a replacement which only ended up doing the exact same thing. It's a great concept, Matin just did a poor job implementing it. Not worth the time/frustration or money, albeit inexpensive (cheap would be a better word).

the product does not work. it peals off very easily. do not waste your money.

Anyone who has owned an electronic device knows that the LCD screen will get scratched, no matter how careful we are. Generally LCD screen protectors look like LCD screen protectors. There is always a haze and too often air bubbles. These are the exception! They are crystal clear and the fit is perfect.
