What was said on the description: Tripod: Reversible Center Column for low angle shots What actually happens: The hook has a flange and is glued to the end of the center column. The flange prevents the center column from being removed and reversed. I had to cut the center column with a pipe cutter. The aluminum is thin and the legs are bit flimsy as another reviewer said. The ball head seems decent and I bet if I had heavier cameras and a camera bag on the hook it's going to be better. The legs have some white powder residue that were probably from the factory. The plastic pieces on the legs also could use a lot of trimming off excess plastic from the molding that could cut you. I bought it for shooting videos and images on a table top so the center column needs to be reversed. If you don't have a pipe cutter handy, you'll use this as a cheap tripod.

I bought a Dollica tripod about 2 years ago for about the same price and have been quite happy with it, especially considering the price. It's decently stable and feels well built. When I put my order in for this tripod about a month ago, I thought I was getting a second copy of the one I liked. When I opened this one I was disappointed. Although I haven't really put it through its paces yet, it feels flimsy and I wouldn't trust its stability in a windy environment. It might be ok for a mirrorless camera, but I'm not sure it's a good choice for a dslr. After I get to use it a bit more, I'll update my review if I find that I've judged it too harshly.

Very light tripod - this is the best feature of this product. The quality of plastics is average. Quick and easy to setup and pack up.

Use with d600 and several lens including 70-200 2.8. Nice case as well. Worth every penny.
