Dolica AX730 Replacement Quick Release Plate
I have been using this quick release plate for my camera for years as it is made of heavy duty metal and secures the camera to the tripod/monopod that I carry over my shoulder toward by backside to never fall off; and I hike and photo in rough backcountry. The larger plate lip size doubles to hold my camera securely to the upper hip belt of my photographic backpack, which takes the weight of my DSL camera away from my shoulders, while allowing quick retrieval of the camera for shooting. May the company never stop manufacturing this plate, but just in case I just purchased three as backups and for my other cameras.
