DPS RS-232 to RS-422 Dual-Mode Cable Adapter with GPI.

• This serial protocol converter enables connection between your editing system's RS-232 serial data port and an RS-422 port on a deck or editing controller, allowing remote control via the RS-422 protocol. Switch-selectable operation modes allow you to switch between Master Mode (with your editing system controlling the a remote deck for batch capture and print-to-tape), and Slave Mode (with your editing system in VTR emulation mode, being controlled by an external controller as if it was a tape machine). Two GPI trigger connectors are also provided.
