Elgato HDHomeRun Digital TV Tuner for Windows & Mac

The Elgato HDHomeRun Digital TV Tuner allows you to watch either ClearQAM or ATSC TV in 1080i HD TV on multiple Windows or Mac computers that are on your wireless network. With the EyeTV 3 Mac software included or with Windows 7 Media Center (not included), you can also go beyond watching these TV formats live. You can record, pause and rewind either format and in 1080i, if broadcast in that resolution.

With a supported DVR program, you can also schedule and then record all your favorite upcoming TV shows. If supported with your DVR program, you can also peruse through a TV guide. In more logistical terms, this TV tuner has a built-in Fast Ethernet port so that you can connect it to your network router and let the router stream the content to your wirelessly connected computers. If you want to watch ATSC DTV, you will need to use an antenna with the tuner.

If you want ClearQAM, you will need to connect the tuner to your TV cable line. You can do one or the other with this tuner, not both at the same time. You can however stream content to multiple computers. You can also connect multiple HDHomeRun Digital TV Tuners to your network and the tuners will automatically be allocated between computers as needed.
