The Eton American Red Cross Solarlink AM/FM Weather Radio with S.A.M.E. is ideal to have on hand when extreme weather hits. It makes a great addition to any emergency-preparedness kit. No plugs or wires are required. You'll always know what's going on, thanks to the AM, FM and all seven NOAA weather band channels. S.A.M.E stands for Specific Area Message Encoding. It's a system of six digit codes that are programmed into the radio to bring only the emergency data for your specific area, such as your county, during an alert broadcast.
