The VC-XL2 rain cape, designed for the Canon XL-2 digital camcorder is manufactured from special PVC material with an integrated, optically neutral flat glass port. It has a large left side viewfinder with a 75mm front glass diameter.

As the cape can be opened at the bottom, it allows hands on operation of the camcorder or mounting on a tripod, and a hardened optical front port allows distortion free filming outside in the rain.
