Shoe size too small!

The unit I received was defective; although the metal did not appear to be bent, there was no way a flash could fit the shoe. Glad for Adorama's easy return policy.

works well

this cord works for ttl I and ttl II flashes. my ttl I flash {doesn't have any special functions though} works well with this cord on my rebel XS. don't expect to pull the flash a full 6' from your camera though. the pigtail design will extend it that far, but will flip your tripod over before you get that far. if you need to get the flash more than 3' or 4' away from the camera, i suggest a pocket wizard or other wireless flash system. bottom line... if you don't expect miracles, this cord is awesome.

So far, so good

I had trouble with one of the hot shoes on it (between my Nissin flash which was Canon compatible and the cable). The fit of the hot shoe was way too tight and I had to yank out the hot shoe in one case. Otherwise, everything seems to be working well so far. I was able to make greater use of my Nissin flash unit than I had before. With the longer nights coming on, I think I will have greater use for this unit. I was not sure if there were supposed to be instructions on how to use this cable, but I think I made the best of it. So far, so good. I would recommend this to a friend with the aforementioned reservations.

About Adorama eTTL2

Tilt TTL Cords
Finally, a TTL cord with a tilt feature. No more close up shots missed or ruined because the flash was unable to angle down to give complete coverage to the subject. This cord can be mounted onto an accessory shoe or a light stand. Just remove the locking screw that would be used to secure the unit to an accessory shoe and a 1/4-20 female thread remains to allow the tilt shoe to be mounted to a light stand or tripod.

Full dedicated operation of the flash is the same as if the flash were mounted directly onto the camera hot shoe. Available in 2 Lengths 3 feet and 6 feet
