This is the best color print film for 35mm I have ever used. It has consitently great colors, awsome detail, scans great in Noritsu and Agfa scanners. It's too bad Fuji has discontinued it. I bought a bunch and put it in the freezer. There really is nothing else in 35mm color print film as good as this. Portra 160 scans well, but the colors with this film are much better.

Got email from Fuji saying the film is available internationally, but not in US. However, US distributors can get stock from global suppliers. At this point, any availability is good. Chances of availability increases if Kodak goes under as all remaining business will help Fuji supplies.

A great film that I hear is going off the market soon. This and the 400 speed Fuji Pro are my favorite films, but the 160s give noticeably better pictures with greater color range and depth. I'll miss it when it goes.

I got this together with the 160C as a step into higher quality film. the difference if huge and very nice. both films produce sharp, solid output. the 160s seems optimized for skin tones and portraits in natural light. the tones are muted yet very solid and have a very nice pop to them. overall, loved the overall feel of this film. will be getting more to shoot portraits.

Tried several films and have had the best results with the 160. Will continue to use it.

I've use this film whenever I want great pictures. My nephew has a very nice digital camera but his images aren't even close to the quality of the images taken with the P 160. I think alot of the compiments that I get on my pictures are due to the film (Fuji P160S) more that anything else.

I use this for natural light portraits and it always gives me excellent results. Not as soft as Kodak Portra and works very well with fair skinned models.

Fuji Pro 160S is a marked improvement over the NPS. I have found the lattitude of this film to be remarkable: about +3/-1.5, for a total lattitude of 4.5 stops. I primarily shoot interiors; this film allows for beautiful reproductions of scenes with windows not blown out and colours not oversaturated. Unlike NPS, this film scans remarkably well, due apparently to a change in the grain structure. Whatever they've done to the grain, however, it works: even 16X24s look brilliant when enlarged in a pro lab!

Fujicolor Pro 160S - Smooth, creamy reproduction of skin tones and neutral gray balance makes Pro 160S ideal for a wide range of applications from wedding photography to portraiture, fashion, and commercial work. It's extremely fine grain structure and outstanding sharpness assure beautiful prints even with display size enlargements
This film represent the leading edge of Fujifilm's color negative film technology. It was designed to be optimized for digital scanning and printing systems, resulting in a smooth hybrid film/digital workflow.
