Ready loads are perfect for traveling and not having to worry about carrying all those film holders. 4x5 images still excel. I also shoot full frame 35mm digital but the 4x5 is much better. The resolution cannot be beat. Unless one wants to spend 10's of thousands for medium format digital

[You will need a Quickload Film Holder (other holders may be used - don't know) to use Quickload films]. As I said in the headline, I justify the extra cost (over loosely bundled sheets) in time-saving and convenience. For a professional work, I'd say it's a must (yes, people have been and are still innovative). Thin envelopes protect each film sheet from light - load the envelope into the camera (the Film Holder really), pull the protective slide (that's part of the envelope) out, expose the film, shove the slide in, press the release button (on the Film Holder itself) and pull the whole envelope out, slap the enclosed Exposed sticker on it, stash away (and develop soon!). Enjoy life.

I have used it on hundreds of projects
MARK I.
Single sheets of 4 x 5 film. Packaged for daylight operation, each sheet is sealed in a light-proof envelope, eliminating the need to load or unload film in the dark.
