Flashpoint SLR Slider 100cm

This portable camera slider provides the perfect base for your video tracking and stop motion needs. Constructed from rugged aluminum with a matte black, non-reflective anodized finish, the Flashpoint Slider offers silent, smooth tracking along with flexible mounting options and no-hassle maintenance.

Dual 1cm rails, set approximately 2.5cm apart, ensure vibration-free linear movement along the rails' 100cm length. The camera mounting platform is equipped with a standard 3/8"-16 threaded screw for full compatibility with cameras and ballheads. For convenience, a quick release plate is also recommended. The platform's manual locking clamp holds the carriage firmly in place when necessary and is used to increase or decrease friction for the ideal slide movement.

With its four, individually adjustable legs and non-marking ball feet, the Flashpoint Slider can be placed level on uneven ground or used for tabletop shooting at various heights. For additional height, the ball feet can be unscrewed so the legs can be placed at a right angle.

For convenience, the legs flip up out of the way and lock in place when not in use or when the slider is mounted to a tripod or lightstands via its multiple standard 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 tripod threads. The slider can be placed on a tripod via its center plate or, for even more stability, tripods or lightstands can be placed at either end of the rail. Overhead shooting is easily accomplished via top-positioned tripod threads for mounting the slider camera-side down.

The Flashpoint 100cm slider weighs only 4.5 pounds, comes fully assembled with a set of Allen wrenches and a carrying case with shoulder strap.
