These have a much better headband than the rest of the SR series Grado headphones but are a bit heavier due to the aluminum cups. It is easy to adjust the headphone to fit your head comfortably. I dislike the lack of a 3,5mm stereo plug adapter. It should have been included, but is sold separately instead. These headphone are efficient enough for iDevices/androids. SR325is boasts a very upfront, clear, aggressive, and energetic sound quality with warm, rich tone, awesome vocals and guitars, and very thick and tuneful bass. Everything seems to get extra grunge to it, somehow. It is the kind of headphone that has extra bass and treble, although probably not enough to make a basshead happy. SR325is is also not very forgiving of poorer quality recordings and low bitrate MP3s, it rubs all the sonic imperfections in your face, so then higher bitrate music and good recordings sound even more eye-popping! All the clarity and definition that Monster and some Bose headphones don't bother with, good grief. They sound even more incredible out of my old Sony CDP-C35. These go well with rock and metal, pop, and electronic.
