So far so good
I've only had this drive for a couple of months but so far so good. For its price, it has a lot of storage and is very compact. I'm using it with an Apple computer.

100MB/s R/W
Tested on two very capable Macs with different USB 3.0 and both benchmarked the drive between 95-110MB/s R/W with a solid average of 100-105MB/s. Perfectly acceptable for my use, but falls a bit short of the 136MB/s advertised. Also, 3 year warranty :)

Misrepresented
The product was represented as being compatible with Windows. It was not. Customer service was grudging, condescending and dismissive. Purchase was a total mistake.

Everything works as should

Just what I wanted.
I use this as a back-up for our data. It automaticly backs-up on a designated period of time. Just hook it up and forget it.

Just what I needed!
I needed another external drive for my second computer for back-up and cloning purposes. Found this one (just the right size) on sale (just the right price) and got it within two day (super fast). Now I feel much safer! It's super quiet and I like that it's a different color than the one I have for my other computer so I'll never get them mixed up.

Bought this hard drive to back up my I- MAC using time machine. After connecting to the computer it worked perfectly.
