I travel a lot and wanted a high speed (7200rpm) drive for use in music production and backup while on the road. I found this one at a special price and grabbed it. I couldn't be happier. I'm using a Win10 machine but reformatting was a breeze. I use it as a stand alone but the ability to dock it at a later time is a plus if I ever go that route. Ordering, payment and delivery were easy and flawless. It appears another reviewer had a delivery problem. I doubt Adorama had much to do with that and the fault lies elsewhere. My experience was great. I've purchased from Adorama on several other occasions and been very satisfied. This time was no different.

Have always had good experiences with G-DRIVE hard drives, and this one has been no exception. Nice and compact and seems well made. Very fast for a non-SSD. Shipping was very fast and always get great customer service from Adorama.

I'm sure this is a wonderful HD. But it's not playing nicely with my new MacBook Pro. It won't work plugged directly into the USB-C port as it apparently needs to draw power. Works with a j5Create adapter but it "times out/disconnects" periodically. Perhaps it's much more reliable used in the docking station.

The product is good but the delivery time was the worst! It set 5 days in one post office 60 miles away before it got to my post office. Total time from ordering to arrival was extremely long.
