I used it to back up my digital photoes. The drive is fast, space saving, and cool design. I was able to change the Raid 0 to Raid 1 using the driver CD and driver from internet on Windows 7. I was able to do it on Windows XP

The unit would function in raid 0, however I have to have Raid 1 with this unit. Unfortunately the supplied software and site downloaded software would not recognize the unit in order to install the Raid control.
