Is great for on the go! I can understand where the other reviewer said it was unstable BUT I use a Canon XTI and a Powershot SD780 IS and I think it's perfectly fine for me to be able to have with me at all times. I used to not carry my other tripod with me most of the time because it was too big. This one is so small and light I will carry it in my purse from now on everytime I'm traveling! There have been soooo many times I wished I had a tripod but didn't because I didn't want to carry the other one and now I have one that I will use because it's small and easy to take along.

I had hoped to use this for a small video camera. Fully extended the tripod is a bit to flimsy

This is a very affordable answer to stabilizing a light camcorder. It's steady and light, and very packable. It sets up in seconds. I've been able to keep it attached to my Canon FS100, and put it in my camera bag this way.
