The Blue Grad Kit includes the popular soft edge grads in densities 1, 2 and 3. Blue color grad filters create a realistic cooling blue effect. It enhances the blues of water and skies and is a vital tool in your landscape filter armory. Soft edge grads have a smooth transition from clear to the color. Different graduated color filters can be used in combination together or with solid color or neutral density filters to give interesting bespoke effects. Formatt-Hitech filters are made from the highest quality 1.5mm optical resin.

Intro to Color Filters
Color filters offer the photographer a wide pallet of create options for using color to enhance an image. Color filters can be used subtly, for example to add a vintage look to your image or add a little more blue to the sky. But color filters can be used to dramatically to create memorable images that would have been otherwise impossible without them. Soft Edge Grads
Soft Edge graduated filters transition across the filter toward the center, and although there is a horizon line, it is subtle. This allows for horizon transitions to be more easily hidden in a scene, especially with an undulating horizon line such as mountains, buildings or trees.
