Ikan PT2500 8" Teleprompter Kit - Through Glass Type

The iKan PT2500 8" Portable Through-the-Glass Teleprompter is a lightweight, simple-to-setup teleprompter system that's appropriate for a range of cameras and camcorders, from DSLR models to mid-sized camcorders such as the Canon XF305. The through-the-glass design means your presenter looks directly into the 70/30 transmissive/reflective glass, which is situated at an angle directly in front of the camera's lens, to read the scrolling text from the upward-facing 8" LCD screen.

To control the output of the LCD screen, iKan's PrompterPro 3.0 software is included (for Mac users, PrompterPro 2.0 is also included). The 8" monitor has a VGA input (as well as two composite ports) to accept the signal from a producer's laptop. The prompter glass, the frame and the monitor line up properly with your camera thanks to the included EV2 adjustable camcorder baseplate, which puts the camera on 15mm lightweight rods and offers a range of horizontal and vertical adjustment to align the camera's lens perfectly with the prompter glass. The included hood blocks out stray light, to ensure a crisp display of scrolling text for your on-camera talent.
