Disappointed overall
This battery did well for awhile, disappointed that battery level did not read in camcorder. Then useful life got shorter and shorter without warning, indicated full charge but only last about 15 minutes. Then would not charge at all in charger or in camera. At first it did and seemed to charge faster on camera.

Does the job but you pay the price
I purchased two as they seemed a good deal even though the battery level would not work on my camcorder but neither one has the level indicator strip as in the picture.That being said they both charged up in under three hours,seem to hold the charge well even under constant zooming and using the full range of my camera settings.Only wish that I could tell within 20 min. when it will expire.

Inexpensive replacement
Bought as a supplement/replacement the original battery in the Canon Vixia HF10. Much longer lasting then the stock battery. Original battery was pathetic. This battery stick out about 10mm longer then the camera. Not a perfect fit but worth it for the extra capacity.

Camcorder batt
The battery is a good product for the price.
The interface contacts are very fragile, you have to be very careful and cautious when interfacing the battery with the camcorder. the battery works good, the only draw back is that you have no indication on the camcorder of the battery's charge level and no instruction on how to read the battery's LED's. (should all the blue LED's be on for a full charge? and why does the red right stays on?)
