This purchase was a total waste of money! The battery charges rapidly and goes dead quicker than it took to charge. I took about 15 photos w/o flash and it went dead. This was the pattern for the entire trip. Buyer beware!

well i purchased wrong battery an wanted to exchange they said no so that goes in trash an had to buy battery from someone else.

I just pick up an older canon camera for my wife, and the batteries would only last about 15 mins. After checking the cost of a Canon battery, I was not happy. After calling Adorama and getting my sales man advice The battery is at a fair price. Everything about the battery is the same except the cost. Thank You Adorama.

I have a bigger camera that uses a lithium ion battery, and love it. So I knew that when I was looking for a new camera, that I would look for this, as well. My mom has a digital camera that takes reg. AA batteries, and she seems to always be replacing them and the system she has for recharging them is bulky. With this, it is very portable and easy to recharge and use. It is always good to have a backup, and the original and this one last long!

It would have been a great item if it would recharge again but that battery after one charge use was dead as a dodo.

It holds its charge for quite a while! Unfortunate that it didn't come with the refurbished camera that I purchased. I'll have to buy another one before my next trip - just in case.

IT IS CHEAP, LIGHT AND RELIABLE. WORKS GREAT ON MY CANON SD750. SO FAR I HAVE NOT FOUND ANY CONS.

I can't tell the difference between this battery and the one that came with the camera. It's great having an extra battery to swap into the camera when shooting a lot, especially using flash. I recommend it!
