This was suggested to me for a spare battery for the Canon SX240 HS digital camera. It is an exact replacement for the NB-6L Canon battery, and is slightly higher capacity than the original, so it gives me slightly longer battery life. It also costs considerably less than the Canon NB-6L. So far it has worked perfectly.

I'd rather review the camera it came with, but okay. The camera is exactly what I'd hoped for and worth every penny and the spare battery, this one, that came as part of the bundle, is a necessity if you are going to do more than a very small amount of shooting. None of these batteries for the Canon Powershot XS 260 HS have a long life. This one is at least as good or better than the Canon original.

This battery works as well as the Canon-supplied battery. The header that has the electrical contacts is slightly skewed, but still functional. The Label started peeling back after the first insertion into the camera. I was able to tuck it under the edge of the header with my fingernail. All-in-all, it recharges and powers the camera well.

The battery won't charge. Have tried with several chargers but it just doesn't work. Bought it in the kit as I wanted to have a spare battery. Now I wish I had bought just the camera itself without this useless kit. It does fit in my Canon Powershot S95 though.

Was clearly advertised as 1200 ma capacity. The one they send you is only 1000 ma. Also hard to fit in...takes a lot of wiggling.

I just bought a Canon Powershot S90 and bought this battery at the same time as a spare. It starts to jam in the camera about 1/3 of the way in. A little wiggling with no force gets it another 1/3 of the way. That's it, it won't go any further. After I realized the battery wasn't going to fit into my camera I compared it to the Canon battery in the Canon charger. The Canon battery has a slightly loose fit in the charger, this generic battery just barely fits. Don't make my mistake. This is a cheap battery and I got what I payed for.

I purchased a quick charger that charges in about 30 minutes. You will need at least 2 batteries if using the Canon D10 and shooting a reasonable number of frames in a day.
