I inititally charged it for about eight hours and it was at 85% charged, so I charged it for about six hours more and it was still at about 85%. I have used it and charged it some more and the highest it will go is about 85%. For the price, though it's still a good bargain. I don't have the need for it to be at 100%. I still am pleased with it. It works fine.

I just bought this as backup. Since I take lots of photos and my new camera doesn't take AA batteries, I figured I needed a backup battery. Peace of mind was pretty cheap in this case.

Holds a charge as long or longer than the Sony product it replaced. At such a great price, I would repurchase these batteries even if Sony still made the original.

Highly recommend a back up battery for a P&S. Video really sucks up the volts. I gave this to my niece for her trip to Germany. I did a fair amount of research and chose this battery. It was solid and well made. Not sure how long it lasted vs the Sony OEM battery but even a so-so battery is worth having when you're at the end of the photo day and there are still some sunset pics to take.
