Awesome product
I did a thorough search for an adapter to my Canon S5 camera. And finally I found this excellent product. I would rate it 4.9/5. I liked its strong metal body and matching black color. I mounted two filters on it and they are woking perfectly.
ONLY bad thing is when using flash, pl. ZOOM IN a bit to avoid shadow.

Great lens protection
The lens guard is easy to use and the metal gives it additional protection. It allows you to add many useful attachments to the S3.

Not a perfect fit, but it'll work
I am using this on a Canon S5IS, and found that the fit was a bit tight. I have an Canon LA-DC58E adaptor which fits perfectly. After taking a few measurement, it found that the tabs were a bit more recessed on the Adorama adaptor than the Canon. Using some fine 150 grit sandpaper, I ground the back face on the adaptor even so slightly until the fit was just right. I have several of these adaptors, which make switching filters and converters a breeze, just like a SLR.

Essential upgrade for the Powershot S3IS
You'll find filter/lens adapters on the internet for twice or three times the price but this one is machined aluminum and is a perfect fit. Get this and a filter kit to triple the usefulness of your camera by adding polarizing filters, etc... No issues with vignetting.
