I would buy this again
This has solved a problem I had with seeing the object in bright sunlight. Tried for over a month to get it from a local camera shop, but was able to get it immediately from Adorama.

Does the job
Fits LCD well. Easy to apply. Provides solid protection to the LCD. Versatile in that the flip up cover can be removed.

I would buy this product again and again
I used the product taking pictures of flowers and taking pictures of a little rabbit. I was able to judge my distance much better. I had a much better view of what I taking pictures of.
When the bright sun is out you see your self.

Assists LCD viewing
Defeats bright sunlight on the LCD, but it is an accommodation to attach to the camera and requires opening each time you use it. Still, it is seems worth the extra effort to use it. It does do a good job of protecting the LCD against damage.

Pop Up Shade
Great little item I've used them on older camera's as well wouldn't take pictures without it. Can be removed if necessary and put back on later. Well thought out device. Would recommend to anyone.

And easy to remove and reattach.
I have not used it a lot. It was easy to install and fit on my E510 giving a full view of the LCD and still allowing easy access to the buttons near the LCD. I was pleased to find that you can leave the frame attached to the camera and easily pop the shade itself on and off as needed.

just what I needed
I put this on my point and shoot that I mainly use outside. It was easy to put on and has worked out great. I really like that it is a two part system so that you can remove the shade and just keep the protective shield for the LCD on. Well worth the money.
