Since I am strictly an amateur, I have the luxury of shooting all of my images to RAW. Regardless of my status as a phtographer, I have found that the cards I had previously been using were somewhat slow, given the camera's buffer, and were limiting my shooting in critical situations, i.e., fast moving subjects, rapidly changing light conditions. These cards are very fast and well worth the price
