Epson Net 10/100 Base-TX External Print Server, Parallel (IEEE-1284) Printer Connection

The Epson EpsonNet 10/100Base-Tx external print server instantly converts many Epson printers without an internal interface slot into network printers. Your entire workgroup can share Epson ink jet printers, impact printers and laser printers. And, the EpsonNet print server supports Internet Printing (IPP), Active Directory and Printer Status Page features included with Windows 2000.

The EpsonNet 10/100Base-Tx external print server lets you connect directly to 10Base-T or 100Base-Tx networks. Simply attach it to the printer's parallel connector, plug in the AC adaptor, connect it anywhere on your network and run the installation software. The print server automatically detects network speed for operation at 10Mbit or 100Mbit.

The menu-driven EpsonNet installation wizard and configuration software make setup a snap. Configure the print server from any Windows or Macintosh workstation on your LAN or from a web browser. Also included with this product is the EpsonNet Web Manager, a comprehensive network printer management tool that allows you to monitor all of the Epson printers on your network from a web browser interface.

Information included about each printer includes network configuration, printer and consumables status, error reporting and logging and job management. The EpsonNet 10/100Base-Tx print server supports multiple protocols simultaneously, such as TCP/IP, IPx, AppleTalk and SNMP.
