For the very first time out of the many years I've had my HP Office Jet printer, I bought a faulty ink cartridge. This was one of 3 I ordered. The 2nd one worked. I hope when it runs out, the 3rd one works. Returned but there was no replacement available. And there hasn't been anywhere near me which sells it, which is why I bought direct. Very disappointing. I hope HP will be able to restock.

I am happy to get my ink cartridges from HP. Staples no longer carries them. Unfortunately I cannot get a color ink cartridge-I attempted it once with HP but it did not work-the cartridge. I would love to have a color ink cartridge, but am content with being able to still get black ink.

Nothing beats using an HP Printer Cartridge. Installed easily and the prints come out a lot darker than any re-manufactured cartridges which do not work well in my printer. Shipping was fairly quick and priced reasonably. Will definitely will buy again. Thanks for a really nice product.

Love HP Ink. I am using an older OfficeJet 7410 and using HP Ink is one of the main reasons this vintage HP printer is still running strong. Tried another brand one (1) time and never again. HP is my only ink supplier... forever. Thanks HP.

And I regularly use HP ink, HP printer, and HP paper to print pictures text, ETC. OEM Black cartridges print a better quality black than other cartridges.

I've had marginal results with "off-brand" cartridges in my HP printer, and I keep returning to the original-despite the HORRIFYINGLY high price. I saved a little bit on this order because there was a discount on the second of and two cartrigges. So, instead of ordering my usual 96/97 combo, I ordered each one separately to qualify for the discount. Usually, HP shipping is really fast. This time, I waited four or five days (I can't remember which) for my order to arrive. That was disappointing.

Ordering online was simple and the cartridge arrived within a couple of days. The cartridge does what it is supposed to do...print. My only criticism is the price; why so much?

Although the printer told me the ink needed replacing, it would switch between the color and black cartridge indicators. I'm not sure the ink cartridge was the issue, but the shady help I got from support is making me think twice about HP for my technology of choice. But, this is about the cartridge, and it did solve my problem, so the jury is still out.

Purchased #96 black cartridge on line because none were available locally. In fact some stores had signs that they had to be ordered on line. I have used these cartridges for years without a problem but this one would not work at all. Called tech help and all they seemed interested in selling me an extended warranty and then they would talk to me about why the cartridge wouldn't work. I know a 7000 Series printer is an older model, but it has been working fine and doing everything I needed it to do. I have always purchased HP printers, but my next one may not be.

Printer cartridge would not work all the time. Kept giving an error message that it was not recognized or the wrong cartridge. Tried all the help and user forums with no success. Considering its price it was cheaper to buy a new non-HP printer so at least I had a working machine.

The HP 96 Original Black Ink Cartridge has been a very good ink cartridge. It produces clearly legible print which dys very rapidly so it doesn't smear. The cartridge also produces a very good number of printed pages. I like this ink cartridge, and also the HP 97 Color Ink Cartridege, because they are economical.
