Slow printing

I bought this new from HP and after an hour or more it finally printed a color PDF. It took two days to print 2 12x18 full color calendars. HP said this model has problems with its board. This MAY be the reason it is slow but they are not sure. The printer also calibrates every time after it runs a single pass. Calibration takes 5-10 seconds and wastes more time. I can print simple documents in about 30 sec from computer to output but I am printing graphic designs elements for weddings most 12x18. I am sorry I wasted my money and time. I now have a expensive paperweight. After many hours of trying to figure it out with no luck I had to use my old printer. My Company moved and the printer found a corner to sit in. Shame on me I waited past the warranty and now stuck with something that I can’t use. Seriously we thought we had the settings wrong on the printer or it was a firmware problem that I could fix. I am amazed HP created a printer that you can’t print straight from Adobe. Or if you do... get ready to wait a week to see your output on one item. I have an little old hp black and white that prints straight from Adobe all day long. I thought the extra ram would help with this issue but HP created bigger issues. Maybe I got a lemon but if HP tells my printer repair man that “we know the board has problems in this model and has to be replaced” chances are you will get a lemon too! Good luck

Not impressed

After using these Color Laserjet printers for 15 years, I really thought this latest model would have a better print quality, but this one doesn't and it has smaller toner ctgs. Not sure I'll buy another one. I wish there was an alternative for our purposes.

High performance, excellent output, quite pricey

It performs as you would expect an Enterprise printer to perform. High output speed, built in networking, WiFi, and HP e-Print. Only drawback is the price, but then again it is an Enterprise printer
