This printer is a lot better than my old HP . I did have it for some time. Listen, I am a 81 year young woman and the easier to install a gadget the better. I have been pretty faithful to HP products because I can still relate to the times when Hewitt-Packard was what we called the company. I guess HP still represents a well made product. Keep up the good name and work

My printer ran out of the black ink that came with the printer in 2 days. I since have bought the XL ink and within one day was indicating 1 bar down out of 4 bars. We use this for 8 1/2 x 11 sheet shipping labels and have to feed them one at a time or they will not be pulled.

Machine is very difficult to operate and lacks performance features. It needed more instructional info. I wish the saleperson that took my order would have explained the pro's and con's. I might have paid more for a better machine.

This machine is a piece of junk. Out of the box, the buttons didn't work because they did not align well with the contacts. Substantial side pressure was needed to get them to function. HP customer service knew to apply side pressure which I take to mean that the printer I received was hardly the first to have this quality flaw. I took advantage of the return policy and replaced it with the Envy 110 with which I am very satisfied. I guess one gets what one pays for.

I recycle old one-sided pages for quick and dirty personal printing. The printer is ideal as a secondary machine, loaded with used papers for personal needs.

This is the worst printer I've ever owned, and I've owned quite a few. Something as simple as loading paper is a frustrating struggle, paper jams happen as often as not, and the quality is far from "quality." I would not recommend this product - not even if it comes free with a computer!

I always owned nothing but HP printers and have had great luck with them. I've always felt that I received more than my money's worh out of them. I'd recommend this to anyone that would like a wireless printer.

I got this printer less than 8 months ago (which is good, I guess, and it worked beautifully) then it just stopped working for no good reason. I've done everything (including reinstall and buying new ink cartridges) to get it to start working again, but alas, it won't budge! So, into the trash it goes and the tried and true brand will grace my computer room once again.. My advice is, if the competitors brand has worked in the past, please don't bother with this one. In MY opinion, it's a dud!!

I loved this printer when I first got it. The printer worked beautiful. Ran out of paper and put some in and it kept telling me it was out of paper ... I kept looking at it and yup there was paper and when it did finally go was all out of wack and clicking. I had only had it 8 weeks. was very disappointed. Now searching for reciept to take it back and cannot find it. I know they did not cost much but 8 weeks ? and 2 times to fill the paper and it was toast. However I did love the quality, and all the features of this printer. I guess I got what I paid for, I don't print much, so thought for the price it would work well for me. apparently not so much .

I like this printer since is has a small footprint. The print quality is fine for me. My only complaint is the software doesn't seem to allow a default setting to fast draft printing. So I have to change the setting everytime I print in draft mode which is often. Other than that, it seems to be a good printer. I have only had it about two weeks.

I purchased this wireless printer to take on our two month stay in Gulf Shores. I haven't had the chance to use it much yet, but my trials with it have been good. With it's size, portability, & carry pouch, it should answer my needs for having a printer handy at all times. I'd recommend it for anyone that travels and has the need for a printer handy at all times; or for anyone that just wants or needs a smaller printer.

I have been looking for a small, portable printer that I can take with me while traveling in our motorhome. When I saw the HP Deskjet 3000 on line it was just what I was looking for. This printer is the perfect printer for someone who has space restrictions, storage restrictions, or who would like to take a printer along with the laptop. Also, I have never experienced the ease of setting up a printer that I did with this one, anyone can set this printer up in less than 15 minutes!

This very reasonably priced printer is great. The printing quality is extremely good for a low-priced printer. I love the smaller, very portable size and it is very lightweight.

This is just what I needed and wanted. I thought I would have to wait for my kids to get here at Christmas to install it and have it work wireless but I had it up and running in under 10 minutes by myself. The printer is good, great color, fast enough for home use. Just a great all around printer, especially for the price.

I bought this for school and I am ending my first semester and I am just now having to replace the ink and I have alot of papers to write and print I recommend buying this. The ink is good and last awhile I suggest buying the XL ink for this it lasts a whole lot longer. It is so simple to use best purchase I have made when buying a printer!!!

I read some of the other reviews, so far I have had no problems. I got this HP printer because my other printer (Lexmark) had issues when I upgraded to Windows 7. I found it super ez to set-up and it has a beautful scan quality.
