Normally I would recommend any HP printer to anyone, home or office and while I still prefer HP printers this model has been a little bit of a let down. We have several of these printers on site with monthly volumes of a few thousand to 13.000. Two of our printers had fuser failures not long after the maintenance kit was installed, which includes new fusers. One of the newer ones with 223k on it has lost the entire drive train and has had two fusers replaced along with the paper feed assembly at the exit due to noise and gear failure and noise. The printer replaced an HP4350 with 1.75 million prints on it. I don't think we can expect the same long term service from our m602n's Buyer beware.

EXCELLENT PRINTER FOR HIGH VOLUME. WE USE THIS PRINTER FOR FOUR PART INVOICES. WE AVERAGE ABOUT 100 INVOICES PER DAY. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THE TONER. WISH IT WOULD LAST LONGER.

Purchased first HP 600 602n printer a while ago and it worked out so well, we've now purchased a total of 6. Very similar to the older HP 4200's we're replacing that have finally started to die off.

This printer is fast and quiet. Installation was very simple. I am totally pleased with the printer. I would highly recommend.

We ordered the M602n printer because it had an extra tray and an envelope feeder. One day after installation, the envelope feeder quit working. I hired our computer tech to come in and fix. She reported that a multitude of others reported the same type of problem with the envelope feeder over the past year and apparently HP has not fixed the problem. The only fix, which doesn't always work, was to install a universal PS driver. This initially worked on one of my workstations, but considering what we paid for the printer (and the PS driver does not give us everything we need), I elected to return the printer. HP had no other options with an envelope feeder in this price range. Very disappointed.

Installing the printer on a network was way too easy. A few clicks in the software and you are done. Response time to print first page is very fast. I'll be buying more of these.

Setup was easy. Added 1500 page feeder and all I needed to do was set the unit on top of the feeder. Has dedicated drivers for Win 7 32 and 64 bit. No driver problems on our Server 2003 or workstations. Speed appears to be close to advertised. First page out is fast even with power saver. Only had it a couple of weeks so I don't know about durability. Managing trays via the Web interface can be confusing and there is no usable online help. It is not quiet but also not overly noisy for high capacity printer.

I have used HP 4000 series Laserjets printers for my business for over 20 years. I always forgave the "freight train" noise when printing because the HP printers are very reliable. This printer is not only reliable and FAST, the freight train has left the station. Even my IT guy was impressed with the speed of this machine.
