The cord still needs to be plugged in to work. I think what I'm looking for doesn't exsist. It works fine as long as it's plugged in.

I thought it did something different

I put in the exact number of the one that I was replacing with a 90 degree end and you send me a straight line and the box had a 90 degree end. Do better

Anyway you add it up it stunk. You would think HP could get it right on their own equpiment.

Just purchased a replacement charger for my HP laptop. It was working in the beginning but noticed a slight short in the wore 2 weeks later. Then at 3 weeks or just stopped working. I have tried calling customer service and emailing but no one has gotten back to me. I would give a zero if I could

Charger stopped working within 3 weeks

So much wrong with this purchase site and the purchase process! Cumbersome doesn?t even begin to describe it! Can only order one charger at a time? You lost out on what would have been a purchase of two chargers, as I didn?t want to have to go through that process again! Then I discover that the wall cable that goes from the wall to the charger is not only sold separately, but the two pieces arrive at vastly different times! I received the wall cable, but have no clue when the charger will arrive! Absolutely terrible experience! If I could get this piece(s) elsewhere, I would!

Works well and quickly charges my hp spectre x2. So far sturdy prongs/plug in portion (have had other charge cords where the prongs get loose after a while). I have used it daily for 2 months.

Just bought a HP laptop that came with one power cable. I always want a backup power cable just in case I may forget the original cable somewhere. This USB-C AC Adapter is half the price of the power cable that is inserted in the round port. Wasn't sure if it would work, but it did! Glad I got it.

Just what I needed

It took me weeks to locate the charger for my daughters school laptop. We had an incident with a kitten who likes to chew cords while we slept. After I found the serial # I kept running into Chinese knockoffs. Luckily I was able to purchase the correct cord from the manufacturer themselves.

Perfect Fit

HP site for my product recommended this power adapter. Turns out it won't work with my laptop. My laptop requires a "blue" power supply. They sent a USB-C adapter. Wouldn't charge at all. Bad info on the site. Beware.

Ive been using it for about a month now and it works great.

I purchased this in November 2017 to replace my malfunctioning Spectre charger and now, as of September 2019, I have to buy another one. My computer's original charger--the one that came with the computer--only lasted about 1.5 years. I guess almost getting to two years is a slight improvement, but I honestly think something like this should last longer. Both chargers broke in the same way too--the cord separated from the brick and the internal wires frayed. I can't imagine this is a difficult issue to solve--just reinforce that area. Hopefully charger number three will last longer. But next time I need a computer, maybe I should try a Dell to see if their chargers last longer.

sent the wrong item for my computer. Had to return .I cannot believe that HP built this computer for me personally and their Tech people gave me the incorrect part to order.,,,

Not the right part

This is the second time that the insulation on the cord leading to the computer has separated and frayed. It is clearly not designed for everyday use. HP has replaced it twice, but my warranty will expire eventually. Then what? Buy only if necessary until redesigned.

Faulty design

Works as advertised. Glad I made the purchase. I thought I could use a generic product, but soon found that I needed the genuine article.

Great Product

I needed to replace my lost charger for my Spectre laptop. The adapter was reasonably priced and was delivered quickly. It works like a champ.
