My HP printer has the right size and has performed reasonably well for my needs. My main complaint is that for some reason the black cartridge does not install correctly, prompting an error message. I cannot seem to install it correctly. I also had some problems with the software for connecting wirelessly. Finally, it does have a tendency of taking more that one page when printing. Other than these problems, it has serve me well.

Just returned from two college basketball road trips. I have never had a mobile printer to update statistics for radio broadcasts. The H470b with the USB cable to my laptop worked perfectly. Excellent copies for clarity and color. It was packed and protected perfectly with the accessory sleeve.

wanted to print out documents on the run at client's homes and this is doing nicely for me. i was hoping that i could find a laser printer in a similar size but didn't come across one.

I bought this printer thinking it would be better than the smaller portable 425 I had. I print a lot of photos. It worked fine for awhile then after abot 800 photos it couldn't load the photo paper. It just spun the rollers and left marks on the paper. I tried to clean the rollers but it didn't help. I printed thousands of photos on the 425 printer before it had the same feed problem. It also only holds 5 sheets of photo paper the 425 held dozens. The cartridges are expensive and print less photos than the smaller printer did per cartridge. I also get poor print sometimes and have to clean and realign it a lot. My son and wife use kodak and love it, and the cartridges cost less. Might buy one next time.

We live in a 41 foot long fifth-wheel toyhauler and space is always at a premium. This printer has a small footprint, yet prints like a full size. The battery charges in 2 hours from fully discharged. The bluetooth connection works great with a generic 2.1 usb adapter and windows 7. Prints great color photos with the optional HP99 photo cartridge. Love it.

I have owned this printer for over a year. The printer rides around in my pickup and has always came through for me. The color quality is good, it warms up in a few seconds and it holds about 30 sheets of 28lb paper at once. My kids have used it as a step several times when they are in the back seat of my pickup and it did not break and it still works. I would recommend getting the leather case for it at HP.com. My clients are all impressed when I print them off a contract or create a nice color flyer on the spot.

I had a tough time getting the H470 to feed properly out of the box due to something being stuck internally but eventually I forced a very heavy duty page through the feed path and it's been fine since. It doesn't feed small sized paper (envelopes in particular) well but now handles standard size paper fine. The print isn't as crisp as my Laser or full sized DeskJet but it's fine for printing maps, airline reservations etc. on the road and the H470 is just small enough to stuff into my PC case along with the PC. The battery life is good and the printer uses the same power supply as my HP laptop so I only have to lug one power supply when I travel. Overall I've been happy with the purchase but I did buy a three year warranty "just in case" the paper feeding issue I had on day one returns.

I ordered this printer for everyday use for my laptop and to take with us on trips after my friend showed me the same one she had. She loved it and never had a problem with hers. I needed one when traveling and for evey day use for my laptop .It installed very easy and is a very fast printer for it's little size and prints in beautiful color as well. I would deffinately recomend this mobile printer and it is light weight and easy to packup and go.Thankyou HP for a wonderful product!

The printer has good speed, print quality, and options; such as bluetooth, 802.11g. The only negative is the extremely high price of ink cartridges. They are very expensive, even by HP standards.

I was so tired of being in a situation where I just needed a printed copy of a document and having to place it on a thumb drive and then attempt to find a printer at a hotel that I could load to. What a pain. I came across the H470b at Office Depot and then checked it out on the internet. Seemed almost to good to be true, but it is for real. Easy to transport and set up. Set up is merely connecting it to my laptop. I does a great print job and even prints in color. I use it almost everyday when on the road. Great to be able to present a customer a copy of a quote or information sheet on the spot. Customers are impressed that they are getting special service. Priced under $200.00 is unbelievable. Thanks HP for a job well done. I have told many associates about it and several have purchased it based on my suggestion.

I would recommend this computer to anyone . The only drawback that I have experienced so far is that when printing out multiple pages, the paper comes flying out of the printer and onto the floor. There is no retaining tray to stack the printed pages.

The battery lasts a long time (for me) and the print quality is fine. I gave it fours because there is always room for improvement on any model. Overall, would buy again... wish HP made a model like this with a scan feature...

I am a salesman and use this printer in the customers home with the HP bluetooth setup. It works flawless and has very good and fast fprinting. The ink is full size and lasta for a long time. Don't use much color but it seems to do good. It is also fast. I purchased the one with the battery and bluetooth dongle included. It also came with a black leather case when you purchase all the options. Worth every penny to me.

We've used these in a medium duty cycle with many problems, some have to be returned within a month of use. The paper only holds a maximum of five sheets. The print quality is not bad, but the inks are expensive and do not last very long. I strongly recommend the extended warranties, but they are very expensive.
