The HP Photosmart 8250 is the best printer I have ever tried. The color quality of the pictures is amazing. I have had many people say "I can't believe this is from a printer!" I have a digital camera with a smart card and you can either print the pictures directly from the printer onto 4x6 photo paper or you can load them onto your computer and print them in different sizes from the program that comes with the printer. I have greatly enjoyed my printer and use it mainly for photos. I have another printer just for documents and such so I don't "waste" my good ink on everyday things. I consider it a very good investment especially if you do alot of pictures.

This is an excellent printer. The only thing I would like to see are larger ink cartridges. Other than the cartridge issue this is a first class printer. It is by far the best printer I have ever owned, bar none.

I PREVIOUSLY OWNED A PHOTOSMART 1250. THIS MACHINE GIVES A MUCH BETTER QUALITY PICTURE AND HAS MORE EXCEPTIONAL FEATURES. IT IS VERY EASY TO USE. I LOVE IT.

this is a good printer, i bought this printer no more than three months and i usually dont print much, but th problem i am having is the feader i have to pressing the ok button more than a few times in order the printer manage to get the paper.

I have been doing digital scrapbooking and photography for 3 years now, and I have never printed on anything other than a HP photo printer. My last purchase was the HP Photosmart 8250 and I absolutely love it. I really like the way you can replace individual color cartridges instead having to replace one for all colors. I would definitely recommend this printer for anyone wanting to print out great digital pictures or digital scrapbook pages.

Just came back from Europe and developed countless photos. Excellent printer. Very fast and the quality of the photos are excellent. I like the multible cartridge idea, so you only replace one color at a time.

I waited for this printer and researched what was out at the time. I have never felt bad about getting this printer. I do wish that I had only paid what they are asking for this printer now. Only problem was the printer would print out some junk when you first started up, however this was fixed when I checked online and reset some stuff on my computer.

My personal viewpoint on the 8250 is that I can't find anything wrong with it save for the notion that performance could be just a hair faster. Infrequent printers might also find the set-up to print page a bit busy in regard to options but, once I did a few, the confusion went away. Then again, it might just be me. The print quality is superb for the price; I've displayed my prints in a show and even sold a few along with a selection of cards. This is my first experience with six inks and I find it a good system. In short, my purchase, at least in my opinion, was money well spent.

The HP 8250 is great, it very easy to operate. It prints great pictures with very little ease. I could not be more satisfy with the printer. The features of this printer are jest superb. I would recommend this printer yo anyone. You did a good job on this printer

I found this printer very easy to use, even before I hooked it up to my computer. Color quality is excellent. I was able to easily edit my pictures as to zoom, lighten or darken, remove red eye, just to name a few. I'd buy this printer again.

I Love my 8250. I bought it for 8 x 10 pictures. I Love how easy, fast, and quick this printer is to use. I have recommended it to friends and family. I scrapbook, and use it for printing on vellum and special sizes of paper. My pictures are lab quality, and my projects come out looking great.

I stepped up from the Photosmart 7260 to the 8250 and WOW! I can't believe the difference. My photos look clearer, the color is brighter. I am very pleased with this printer.

This printer lives up to it's name, and all expectations that they tell you. I started out with a HP P1000, then moved up to the HP 7350, and now I'm useing the HP 8250, and it the very best one yet. They did a lot of work to ensure that they made a printer that is REALLY a Photo printer. I always said that I couldn't wait until HP brought out a printer with individual ink cartridges, and when they did I was gonna be one of the first to buy one. I didn't feel cheated when I took it home and hooked it up. It installed very easily, and the pictures that come out of it look just like the pictures that you would receive from a photo store. I have had my friends compare one of the pictures that I printed out, and one from the photo store. They were unable to pick out the one from the store, and the one that I printed. That in itself tells me how the printer works for me. It is nice to be able to replace just the ink cartridge that is empty, and not waist the ink left over in a tri color cartridge. I was always complaining about throwing away ink that was left over, and there wasn't anyway to be able to use the extra ink. I have finally found a printer that is cost efficent. HP went above and beyond when they made this printer. They used all of their knowledge about their other printers both good and bad, and came up with the top of the line HP 8250. It isn't a very expencive printer to buy, and it is very cost efficent to use. The screen is easy to see and the tools are easy to use with or without being hooked up to your computer. This can be used as a stand alone printer, or in combination with your computer. Finally, ths printer is one of the very best printers that are on the market right now, and I don't expect anyone to make anything as comparable for a very long time. If you want more for your money, then I would suggest buying the HP Photosmart 8250. You won't go wrong with it!!! It is definately a Five star+++

Crisp, Clear and fast. Love the feature of just pluging in my camera and printing from the printer not having to open the computer at all.

This is not only a great printer, but does fantastic photos in 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10. It is much nicer having the variety of color ink jet containers. they have made it simple to change.

This is my second HP printer and I love it. It has a card reader in it which I use all the time to transfer my pictures to my computer, and also to print pictures from the card. It has a small screen on it which you can see to select the pictures you want printed and not even use the computer. It has a 4X6 paper tray which is convenient too. It takes 6 ink cartridges, but you only have to replace the color that runs out, not all of them at once. I buy my inks in a bundle with 4X6 paper packs and I think they are very economical. I order ink online and get it in 2 days with free shipping! It doesn't get any better than that.

After using a HP Photosmart1000 for the last 6 years I was really worried about getting a new printer but the website helped me decide which one was the best one for my needs. The quality of HP is as always incredible for my home and office documents and the photos are beyond compare. The only downside to this printer is the constant pop-ups when you are running out of an ink color and the fact that it will stop printing if you don't replace the color ink cartridge.Setup was also a nightmare because the ink that came with the printer did not work and replacments were hard to come by.But after getting everything going though I would recommend this printer to anyone that wants high quality printing for an very reasonable price.And there really wasn't anything wrong with the old HP printer except that my volume of printing has gone up alot and it was considerably slower than this new one.

I am very pleased with this printer. On occasion, it will show a caution sign under one of the color cartridges and I am unable to identify the reason. If I remove and replace the cartridge, it will most times correct itself and other times it just goes away. I own four HP photosmart printers and would not hesitate to recommend any one to others.

Great printer, very reliable. Easy to use. Ink isn't expensive & comes individually packaged but available in sets with photo paper. I have owned HP's for years & this is a great addition to HP's printers. I have owned or worked with several other printersm but the ease of operations never compared with my HP's.

This printer is awsome! It prints better pictures than uploading to a photo service, colors are much better. Fairly thrifty on cartridge useage. Works best using the Advanced HP Photo Paper. Prints quickly!

This printer does a real quality job in both color and black and white. It, like most photo printers does however use a lot of ink. The color cartridges are small and I go through them pretty quickly. I buy the 02 value pack everytime. It's totally the best buy! There are many settings for printing. Too many as far as I'm concerned. Between trying to decide what ink format I want to use and paper format, it's sometimes confusing and you start your printing job feeling like you forgot something. Honestly, I'm not sure why the they put a quality and normal on it because the normal is exactly the same as high quality and uses 1/2 the ink. I love the fast normal and fast draft for jobs that don't require super quality. The built in card reader is great for those prints you need quick but don't have the time to wait for your photo editing software to boot up. It's a very user friendly printer. The software walks you through everything step by step. It's a great home printer and I recommend it.

Have had this printer about 1 year. I have never had a problem. I also own two other hp printers. The 8250 prints pictures as close to photo quality as I have seen. It is also blazingly fast.

This is my 2nd HP Printer and I love it. It is so simple to print a 4x6 photo and it looks like a professional developed it. True to life colors, ease of use and fast. What more can you ask for in a photo printer.

The card reder is fast and marked for the cards. The ink cartridges last a long time and easy to change. The cartridges are marked and you get a warning when they are getting low. I have just changed two color cartridges after 9 months. Also the printer is very fast in color and black. The vivera ink works. I have not had any problems at all.
