What a perfectly seamless setup and operation
When I received my T630 printer, I couldn't wait to get it together. I had no issues whatsoever in following the instructions and getting to the point where I could turn it on. It was also a seamless process in getting it set up to start printing. Most of the work was automated where I just had to follow the steps on screen. I was able to load the 24" roll of paper seamlessly, it automatically aligns the paper to ensure everything is straight.
In no time I was able to successfully print from my laptop using HP Click on the wide pages without a single hiccup. I did try from my iPhone, but was unsuccessful - that's not what this printer is for and not once did it say it was compatible with iOS 17.
I have since printed many 24" pages for my business with no issues, it's quiet, as it sits in my living room where I watch tv and listen to music. I can do both those activities while the printer is operating. Ink cartridge placement is straightforward, paper loading is straightforward, and this printer has saved me from relying on printers that I've struggled to work with.

Not compatible with Apple
The Roll option is not compatible with Apple and HP support is terrible

T630 Up and Running
Unboxing and assembly instructions are excellent, and we had no problem getting the printer up and running. Unit is printing and cutting perfectly. Very satisfied with this purchase.

A decent printer for the price
I bought this one to replace my old DesignJet 520.
It seems to work well. I wish it came with covers as well as a paper tray at the font for when using the tray feed.

Spend a little more money!
Have had one of these about a year. Started out printing from my desktop, that quit working after 2 months. Tried using my phone, worked another 2 months. Now I have to take my laptop to the office to print.
It's latest glitch? It had a paper jamb. I unharmed it and restarted. Now it prints the 24" axis on the 36" width of paper. Tried all the fixes mentioned online and it still prints the wrong direction, wasting paper!
I gave it a 2 because when it works it does a decent job.
One other glitch I almost forgot about. I opened the front door to change cartridges, it got locked up and I couldn't close it. HP sent me a new door to replace it. The day the door got there I was trying to see how to install it. I must have wiggled the door and held my tongue just right because it closed.

Printer Review
Great product and works mostly as described. We found one issue it states it will accept roll sizes of 150' it will but it does drag a bit until a small portion of paper is rolled off.

So far it SUCKS!!!!
this far it sucks. I have to reload the roll of paper after every time I print a drawing. Like it backs up too far and spits the paper out. Then you need to go feed it again and go thru the alignment again.

WPN is a pain!
Does not easily connect to with. Did not work out of the box?had to have a technician out to repair.

happy with printer
This printer was purchased to replace our t520. set up was easy and love that i do not have to load and unload the roll when changing to multisheet print. i do wish it had a tray for when printing to multi sheet instead of just falling into the fabric catch.

Nice printer!
This printer has been humming right along and printing very well with an exception - it was jamming as it was getting low on the paper roll - a quick visit to the helpful tips suggested we leave the front panel ajar...maybe to compensate for extra curly-ness of the paper(?). Anyway, all is good! Thank you :D

Our T630 Plotter
It does what it's supposed to do! There are 2 things I don't like about this printer. The first is, that when a job starts printing there is no way to cancel it on the machine itself. The second thing is, that you can't use a 300' roll of paper with this machine, the max is 150'. Other than that it's a pretty nice plotter.

Option not listed as an accessory time of purchase
Roll cover shown is not included. It is an accessory not listed on the website but in the data sheet. Is a factory install only and if not ordered at same time you are out of luck
