Love this charging dock. It is so convenient, just set it back on the dock when done using even with the case on. That feature is so great.

I was surprised to learn that the touchpad dock is inductive charging just place it on the dock there are no plug holes to line up!!!

I hated plugging the touch pad in every time it went low on battery. This is so easy and i don't have to align the connector in the dark... Nice touch with the slide show.

Just received the charging dock today, Feb 9, 2012. Was concerned about charging through the form-fitting HP case since I didn't want to remove the case for charging. However, I plugged in the charging dock, laid the Touchpad on the dock landscape-wise with the front flap folded behind the Touchpad (so there were 2 layers of casing between the dock and Touchpad) and immediately got the charging notification! Great! I also like that the dock's rear support can move 180 degrees allowing me to adjust the angle of the Touchpad to any position.

I ordered the HP touchstone for my HP tablet as I was always having to reach through so many cords to find the proper one. I figured I could put the touchstone on a nightstand. It is wonderful, it charges with the touchpad in it's case and shows an illuminated clock when it's charging. I would hightly recommend this if you have a touchpad.

I bought this with the HP Touchpad case (HP part: FB343AA#AC3 ) and the keyboard. The Touchstone does not work at all when the TP has the HP Case on. This makes it a deal breaker for me. It just dings, telling me it's not seated right. The case is form fitting and I'm certain I would damage the case or the TP if I removed it every night. When the case is off, the Touchstone still performs poorly and is difficult to find "just the right place" where it will actually charge. So I move it a couple millimeters to the left or right, over and over until I find that spot it likes. The first time I used it my TP "bricked" due to not charging and I had to send it back to HP for repair. Maybe I should have sent the Touchstone too. It's a nice idea and I wish it worked. But give it a pass and just use the wall plug.

When I was unable to get a charging cord assembly from HP for my Touch Pad, the parts rep suggested the Charging Dock as being available -- at 3X the cost, but it did the job splendidly when the need was there!

The charging dock is a must have for all Touch Pad users. The Touch Pad is always fully charged and ready to use. Very happy with my purchase.

This charger works even with the HP cover attached. Just set the Touchpad on it and charging begins. Handy.

Great product, I wish I had one for all my electronics. I always seem to break the cords trying to get them out of my other electronics, it is so nice to just pick it up and go and not have to mess with unplugging, plugging, etc.

Works exactly as described. We really enjoy the clock view while the touchpad charges on the stand. This was an incredible deal. It is sad they will not be making this product any more.

We got an HP Touch pad and I noticed it took a long time to boot-up. So I went to HP web site and found this charging dock. It is great the HP can stay on and you can use it instantly. We have it in the kitchen and we set the Pad to a digital clock and weather. Luv, luv, luv it.

When I first heard about it, I thought that the charging dock would be a nice accessory, but it turned out even better than I had imagined! It wirelessly connects to the Touchpad, so there's no charging cable to mess with, and as an added bonus, if the Touchpad is inactive, it will put the Touchpad into a mode where it becomes a good-looking desk clock with three selectable display formats, or slideshow photo frame (user's choice). The only (minor) caveat is that there are only two "proper" orientations for the Touchpad on the dock that allow charging (one portrait and one landscape). If it's upside-down, it won't charge, but you'll know it because the charging message and icon won't appear. Highly recommended!

Wish HP had continued the product, although if it wasn't for the fire sale I don't know that I would have bought one yet. The Touchstone dock/stand is awesome. The thing just works, turned boring charging time into a beautiful digital picture frame.

This charger is awesome, I love being able to just drop my touchpad on top of the charger and not worry about looking for cables. The fact that it works with my pre as well makes it all the more great as a product.

This is by far one of the smartest accessories that HP designed for use with the TouchPad. It's simple, fast and does more than just charge. It's THE place to store the TP when not in use. My only complaint is that the "at rest" charging position could retain the TP more positively. It's easy to place the TP slightly off center or partially miss the guide edge so that the unit isn't fully in place. In both cases, the unit won't be charging when you might think it is. You must make sure to observe the pop-out at the top of the screen and hear the sound that indicates it's charging. If you hear the sound and see the pop-out too many times, it means the TP isn't placed exactly right and must be repositioned to charge properly. Otherwise, a great device and well worth the price...even at its original $75!
