First let me say That this camera and housing combination is outstanding for the amature photo bug who wants to document vacations with a low entry level cost. It is the combination that makes this a winner. I can switch back and forth through all functions of my camera with gloves on with no problem making this set up very versital. On a recent trip to the keys I took many pictures and video clips. I was able to switch back and forth with ease. I also used my Nikon for my dry trips as it loads and unloads into the housing with ease. Although a professional could probably criticize my pictures it is probably more my fault than the camera and housing. I love this combo.

The Ikelite ULTRAcompact digital housing for Coolpix L19 & L20 cameras really delivers when performance and durability matter. The ULTRAcompact housing is high quality, built to last, and backed by Ikelite's long-standing reputation for excellence.
All camera controls are fully functional through the housing and depth rated to 200ft (60m). Easy open latch and drop in camera loading make set-up a breeze.
Housing measures 6" (15.2cm) wide; 4.4" (11cm) high including controls; 3.4" (8.6cm) deep including port. Camera and housing together weigh under 1.5 lbs (0.66kg) above water and are nearly neutral underwater.
Camera's Built-in Flash. An included flash diffuser improves lighting quality when the camera's built-in flash is used. A bulit-in flash is effective less than three feet from the subject in clear conditions.
External Color Filters. Replace some of the reds and more natural tones that would otherwise be lost. Available as #6441.32 for tropical blue water and #6441.72 for green water. Filters are effective in shallow, sunny conditions depending on water clarity.
External Underwater Strobes. Ikelite strobes are much more powerful, recycle more quickly, and eliminate more backscatter than the camera's built-in flash. For the best results in all conditions
Wide Angle Conversion Lenses. An external wide angle conversion lens increases angle of coverage so you can get much closer to your subject while still fitting everything in the frame. Several options are available for the attachment of external lenses:
Attach 46mm threaded #6420.46 Ikelite W-20 and other lenses directly to the front of the housing port. (recommended)
· Attach 67mm threaded #6420 Ikelite W-20, Inon Type II, and Epoque lenses using the #9306.81 port adapter.
· Attach Bayonet style Inon UWL-105AD, UWL-100 28AD and UFL-165 28AD lenses using the #9306.80 port adapter.
Minimal vignetting (shading in the corners) may be present in the widest setting when using an external accessory lens. This can be eliminated by zooming in slightly. Slight softness around the edges of the photo in some situations is normal.
