Ikelite #9523.62 Tray with Dual Release Handles

I was a bit surprised at the manufacturing quality. Machining marks were a surprise. The threads of the 1/4 20's may have been before final finishing...as it was I had to recut them to allow type 3 1/4 20 stainless to fit. A lower quality 1/4 20 would work but not higher standard. It was workable but I expected more from the Ikelite. I struggled with recommendation...probably would but I would caveat my recommendation.

I will use this photo tray diving. Love the dual handles with curvature for hands. A bit heavy when strobe and camera are added

I picked up an Ikelite housing for my Nikon digital compact and quickly realized the need for external strobes/focus light. This tray and handles fits the bill perfectly. Two handles with quick release features makes it quick and easy to attach accessories. I already noticed better stability holding on to the handle with my left and operating the camera with my right. As you all know, weight is a factor now with airlines and these handles are heavy but solid (the only con I can think of). The rubber handles have a positive feel in my hands even while wearing 5mm gloves. Another great product from Ikelite that I would highly recommend.

This is the tray that I needed to take my G10 Ikelite Housing from a 1 strobe system to a 2 strobe systemm.
