Better than Expected

I bought this paper for my students to use in an intro to digital workflow course. I wanted a good quality paper at a larger size so they could practice printing bigger. I have been using Ilford papers for years now, but had never tried the Galerie Premium line. This pack had the sheet count and size that I was looking for so I jumped. I was really pleasantly surprised when we starting printing - the icc profile was pretty much spot on using our Epson 2880 printers and overall the quality of the paper was a bit better than I expected. It is a true glossy paper, with the shiny, plasticy coating on the surface. It has a decent weight to it, but never gave any of the printers a problem with jamming or paper feed. It is not a heavy weight paper, nor is it like the Ilford Galerie Prestige line (in the black boxes) where you get a fiber based paper. But a definite improvement over entry level papers, and a great value for a paper this size. I would definitely recommend this if it fits your needs
