It's insurance

There isn't much to say about this other than I think it's a good idea to have insurance. I bought this for my new 5DMK3 in the event it got damged. I've never had a claim w/ this company so I really can't rate them, thus the three stars. I'd rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

Good investment

Good to have if You have a problem. Just make sure You have a back up because You will be without your equipment for awhile.There in no hurry to get it back to you.

Worth the peace of mind.

In the past I've found that Mack's extended coverage to be of great value. I continue to use them to cover my high end equipment.

Protecting my investment

I have not used the warranty on this camera yet but I have used Mack services on two other cameras in the past. The online feature for reporting a claim is very fast and the company did a great job repairing my cameras in both cases.
