Worth the cost
My original BM-5 is now a year and a half old. It is scratched, broken and a little difficult to see through but imagin what the view screen would look like with out it. It broke when I dropped the camera but it saved the screen from being broken. Dirt does get behind it but is no problem to remove and clean. On cold days breath goes behind and fogs screen but again is easy to remove and clean. This product is well worth it's listed cost.

A Must Have
This is a must have on your camera. I got it to protect my screen and i love it. I think that the only thing that i might complain about it that sometimes a little dust will get behind it, but all you have to do is un snap it and clean it off.
