Intellighting 1LPL 1 LED Precision Refraction Brilliance Light

If I could just figure the trick to opening up the area for the battery I think I would really like this little light. I bought to carry on my key chain, but am stumped since the box did not include any written instructions. Should have been easy to figure out?
