Better than the original! Had a hard time installing it so hopefully it will stay on permanently.

It works so far because it stays on the camera. Anybody who works the Olympus OMD system knows the eyepiece pops off with little to no prompting. A design flaw in an otherwise spectacular system.

Olympus should make better eye cups. I have lost at least three over the years. They are flimsy and they break and fall off. I also tried the larger eye cup which fits and works well, but it, too, broke and fell off. Also, with the larger one I don't think the little flash that comes with the camera fits on. Order more than one!

You *will* loose this thing at some point as the clips that hold it on are very weak and it's easy to knock off. I had the camera around my neck with a camera strap just like any other camera but that was sufficient in knocking the hood off. I'd just leave it as is but without the hood the diopter gets bumped out of adjustment frequently. This product, like Oly's other lens hood (EP-11), lens caps and lens hoods shows a complete lack of attention to quality design in their accessories resulting in the item falling apart or getting lost.

This is a replacement for the very same eyepiece that came with the camera. I broke the original. This is a must have for all but those who own the E-M5 since the EVF is one of the cameras crowning features.

The eye cup does what it's supposed to but Olympus should be giving these away because they come off so easily.

Came in original Olympus packaging. I was expecting something different, like a 3rd party version, but this works just fine. Fits snugly, more so that the one that came with the camera. I sure hope I don't loose this one.

It was a better fit than what came on my camera. Not sure if Olympus applied a fix and not declare it. But, I still found it almost half off a few days later. The OM-D eyecup has an inherent design flaw. Either tape it down or glue it on if you want more peace of mind.
