The Panasonic DMCTS3R is shockproof, waterproof, dustproof and freezeproof in design with the capability to record high-definition movie in AVCHD format. Featuring a 28mm wide-angle lens, the iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode and GPS function, this versatile camera lets you capture your moments no matter what the intended shooting terrain is. Swim along with tropical fish and capture shots of beautiful coral reefs, or take recordings of your friends around a camp fire. The DMC-TS3 is an extremely versatile camera that you can take with you wherever the action calls.
The TS series is the camera specially designed for active outdoor use adopts compass, altimeter and barometer. The rugged design, GPS and advanced measuring equipments offers a variety of fun in wide-ranging situations. Take out the camera to fishing or camping in the springtime, to diving, snorkeling, surfing in summer, or mountain climbing in autumn and to skiing or snowboarding in winter - The DMC-TS3 is an all-year-round active field player to record stunning memories in beautiful photo and movie.
The DMC-TS3's large 2.7-inch LCD features a high 230,000-dot resolution and a wide-viewing angle that lets you frame your shot in a variety of ways for both shooting and viewing. LUMIX's acclaimed Intelligent LCD function also automatically adjusts the brightness in 11 steps according to shooting conditions. In addition, the AR (anti-reflective) coating LCD minimizes glare and provides clear images, for high visibility even in outdoor brightness. This LCD provides sharp, clear images in virtually all shooting situations, ranging from nighttime to bright daylight scenes and from low-angle to high-angle shooting. And it lets you share the fun of viewing images with family and friends.
The DMC-TS3 has recording capability of full HD 1,920 x 1,080 movies in AVCHD format. The AVCHD format features almost doubling the recording time in HD quality compared with conventional Motion JPEG. In addition, a host of options enhance the usability and fun of recording high quality full HD movie. The DMC-TS3 offers versatile ways of recording memories not only in beautiful photo but also in high quality movie with ultimate ease of operation in virtually all shooting situations.
The DMC-TS3 also features Intelligent Resolution technology. Rather than uniformly enhanced sharpness, Intelligent Resolution precisely optimizes signal processing to give the entire image outstandingly natural clarity and fine detail. As a result, images are naturally clear and crisp in movies as well as in photos.
Photos or movies recorded in AVCHD on the SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Cards are easy to view on a Panasonic VIERA TV. Simply insert the card into the VIERA Image Viewer (SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Card slot) on VIERA TV or DIGA Blu-ray Disc Player to playback your contents. Alternatively, you can use an optional HDMI micro cable to output the still and motion images you took from the DMC-TS3 directly to the TV for VIERA Link. Most of the control is possible using only the TV's remote control. Especially, the pictures taken with the 3D Photo Mode via the 3D Image Viewer offering users a whole new exciting experience.
