Lasts longer than less expensive battery
I purchase a few cheaper off-brand batteries for my Panasonic digital camera and they don't last as long as the Lumix battery. I found the DMW-BLD10 in the used/open box department and bought it, so now I am all set for my next vacation.

Better than the third-party batteries.
I have a third party battery as well as a OEM battery. So I got a second Panasonic battery because it has a longer power time. I get at the least 35% more pictures.
