Too slow and I would like a choice of resolution output

I managed to process about ten slides an hour. While one was being scanned, I added info and basic retouches to the digital download using PSE 10. I used it on both PC and Mac, and found the Mac verstion better. If only one could save one's preferences. Each time it is powered up, you need to go through the whole preferences sequence. My purchasing experince at Adorama was faultless and the scanner arrived on our tiny island in the Indian Ocean four days after it was picked up from New York.
