My initial use is for printing genealogy charts with thumbnail photos, so that is not very telling for high quality photos. However, I do a lot of photo printing on my Epson 3800, so now that I've found a nice smooth, bright matte roll paper (similar to Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Matte, except very bright white) for this R800 , I'll have to try a Monument Valley pano or something like that, then revise the review. For my current purpose, the paper is producing great genealogy charts, which are mostly black boxes and text, although the thumbnails are in color (mostly sepia). My only complaint concerning the paper so far is that in the middle of the roll there was a single drop of some crud that did not come off with an eraser. So minus one star for a wasted print.
