Unbelievable Story!
I lost my Sony camera encased in the Sony underwater case while diving in Grenada. I left my contact info with the dive center if by stroke of luck someone found it. Well, luck was on my side because I received an email 2 weeks later from someone who found a camera underwater. After validating it was my camera, he told me this story.... he was diving in Grenada with his wife for 2 weeks on vacation. On his last dive of his last ascent, this man saw an algae covered item and grabbed it. He brought it on the boat and after cleaning it off it discovered it was a camera. Other divers were offering him money but he refused. He touched the power button and low and behold, it turned on!! This was my camera -- it lasted under water for 2 whole weeks and got covered in algae and STILL worked. That is really a testament to this product and I highly recommend it. Just don't clip it to your BCD and dive off a boat because it might break off -- use the hand strap to make sure you don't lose it!! And to finish the story, the man brought the camera home and after validating over email that it was my camera, he shipped it from the UK to me in Boston and it's on its way home! Truly is a stroke of luck and I'm glad that the case held so well!
