Too bad, because these could easily be super handy. WEAK clips: If you tilt the light they fall off. Weak hinges: the flaps don’t stay at the angle you set them to, especially if the fixture is tilted or if you have diffusion or gel clipped to the door. Don’t buy them. I’m going to return mine.

I bought these pretty impulsively because I had been wanting an intense spot effect and I thought I could turn my big (10 inches across) hot light into a spotlight with these. The price was right too. They are easy to use and work just the way they are supposed to, snapping right on to the rim and bending back and forth, but they don't concentrate the light the way I'd hoped. I'm hoping they will work better with a smaller hot light -- if I ever get one.
