I have two of these that came with a JTL lighting kit that my wife got me as a present. Both of them have broken in less than a year and I only used them a handful of times. There is a plastic fastener inside the tubes that breaks and they don't stand tall anymore. They both broke at the same place and overal are very flimsy.

I have three of these stands to hold by Adorama budget flashes with softbox. The stands have held up well and are great value for light duty work.
